My super sweet friend Carly Carlson dropped by the day after the big "BIRTH"day and snapped a bunch of fantabulous photos of Ledger, these are just a few.

She's pretty much amazing, and having a cute baby boy of her own in a few weeks! Thank you Carly!

I just have to say how much 
I LOVE MY FRIENDS! 

One of my fabulous friends brought me these lovely flowers yesterday to help cheer me up as my week went to pot on Monday.

Thank you to my friends (you know who you are) for being a sounding board & a shoulder to lean on when I need a little extra support and for all your advice.

You guys truly are awesome & I couldn't ask for better friends!

But it was oh soooooo good.

As of Wednesday I canned 12 gallons with 6 more in the freezer. You know what we will be drinking for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner!

{ I ♥ Tassels }

I have this bloggy friend Jo who bought some Peonies from my Etsy store and when I realized that she had an Etsy store of her own I couldn't help myself, I approached her with the idea of doing a little trade. I'd make her some Pressed Peonies and she a Tassel for me well she is such a good sport because she said YES!!
And here is my Lovely Tassel!!

I was so excited when she finally arrived, I mean look at it next to my bedding!!!

And she even looks awesome at night ;)

{I'm Not MIA}

Really I'm not, I've just been super busy this week. I have been decorating but it's been in blog form instead of my house. I've helped out 3 fellow blogger's in the last week with their bloggy makeovers so that was fun. And today I had 3 parent teacher conferences first thing this morning and then ran about 200 errands with 5 kidlets in tow. They are pretty good at stores so I can't complain, I do prefer to go without kids as I can move a little faster but what are you going to do when all your kids are home for a 5 day weekend!

Then I had a Craft mishap the other day, I was ironing one of my giveaways If the shoe fits stitchery things and I forgot I left the iron down as I was talking to my 4 year old. Well, leaving a hot iron on damp fabric equals burnt fabric, soooooo not good. But don't worry Kimba and Rae, They will be on their way tomorrow I promise & non burned :). Sorry it's taken me so long to get them off.

Then this evening my good friend Jeanne called and informed me that she is in the hospital and dilated to a 4 with a pinhole sized leak in her bag of water. She is 20 weeks pregnant today & this is Jeanne and Matt's first baby. Jeanne I know your reading this just know that I love ya and hope that everything works out as it should. You are in our prayers, Jentry prayed for you over dinner this evening. ;) I wish I could be there with you, I'd bring my Friends dvd game and you could kick my butt all you want. You'd do it anyway as you remember everything you see and read. Take care my friend I'm thinking of you ♥.

Tomorrow I have to teach a class on making these fabric pumpkins.

Oh and right before the class we have the funeral viewing to go to (funeral is on Friday). Plus I have to get our church RS Bulletin board redecorated for Oct. (yes I'm late) and I have to work up the newsletter as well. And to top it off I promised the kids that I would make them playdough today but that will have to wait until maybe tomorrow or Saturday. I'm feeling a little overwhelmed at the minute. Hence my blogging when I should be working. I have a couple crafts in the works but those have to wait until I get my "to do" list taken care of. I am looking forward to our pumpkin class tomorrow. It will be nice to go and hang out with friends at church and have some down time.

Okay if you made it through this long and windy post I'll bring you some cookies & we'll watch tv. Noooo lets make it Lindt Lindor Truffles only if you promise to share. Yeah Truffles and Project Runway. I'll be over in a minute.

{A Little Goodbye}

Well my friend Melissa leaves early in the morning for her trek to Montana. Her house is completely empty and the U-haul is packed to the gills with all their earthly possessions. And this is the man who is taking her away. :) I know she has to go But as I took her a little going away gift this evening it was bittersweet, I mean who else is going to go on our late night runs to Wal-Mart or to Denney's for their Deluxe chicken salad just because? Oh and who is going to come over and stay up until the wee hours of the morning watching chic flicks and eating more chocolate than we should? Oh the memories we have had. I have to say I am grateful that we all have blogs so we can look in on each other on a daily basis. We will have to plan that scrappin' getaway when your all settled in. I know your onto bigger and better things So good luck Joe & Melissa I'll know I'll talk to you soon!

{And I'm Back}

Just thought I would check in and say Hey! We got home from the coast on Thursday night and I immediately repacked my bags and left for my scrapbook getaway with my friends Shauna & Calie. Holy good times! I laughed until my head hurt and scrapped till my eyeballs fell out, so much fun!

I have much to post about but it's going to take a post or two. I have to get back into mom/wife mode & finish up my craft for girls camp on Thursday so I'll be posting stuff here and there as I get my to do list checked off. Anyway just wanted to let you all know that I haven't fallen off the face of the earth. I was just off playing with my friends.

Parker's Baptism Day

We had a great Baptism day on Saturday for Parker. He was so calm about all of it. I asked him several times if he was nervous and he kept telling me no. We had 2 great speakers and had lots of family and friends show up. We felt bad for those that were unable to attend, but with it being Mothers Day weekend alot of you were out of town and we totally understand. We do want to thank all our family that came in from out of state. We know it's hard to get away from work but we are so grateful that you came.

After the baptism we went out to eat at a local pizza place (Parker's choice) and then we took all the boys to ride go-carts and then they all went swimming. It was a very busy day. Now I need to clean my house yet again. It's seen the effects of 6 boys & 1 lone girl running around. Plus all of us adults. I'll post more pictures later.

Total side note:

I apologize again for my little "stress out moment" on mothers day. Sorry Lloyd, Mom & Dad, Bonnie, CJ, David, Tyler, Channing, Calob, Jentry, Parker, Brinley, Corbin & Addison. I was just getting a wee bit stressed the more the day progressed. I so need to figure out a better way to handle stress. It was just a long weekend with all that went on plus that fact that I was running on very little sleep as my baby was also. Cranky baby + tired mom + lots going on makes me very freaked out after a while & sometimes I lose it. I'm sure after almost 14 years Lloyd is used to it. But for the rest of you I'M SORRY. I'm not perfect and I hope that I'm forgiven. I have decided I don't do well in the Head Honcho Dept. I make a much better side kick. I'll help out all you want I just don't want to be in charge. ;)

I Am Still Alive

I know some of you are wondering where the heck is she? I really have just not had much to say lately. Plus, I wasn't about to post more boring stuff about me or my kids just to post something for the day, not only do I think it's boring but you may think so as well. So I have been waiting for something interesting to post about & here it is.

My latest and greatest quilt blocks!

These didn't turn out perfect, but heck I'm surprised they turned out at all. Melissa's for some reason always turn out better than mine. And Melissa is like the quilt block queen, I have never watched anyone punch out these blocks as fast as she does. She has a secret I just know it... :) Maybe if I didn't sit and talk/goof off so much I would get some done faster too. Hmm.. it's a thought.

We are getting close to the end of this class & it has been fun getting out of the house for 2 hrs every Tuesday and spending time with friends. Nothing like some away time from the kiddos to help recharge your batteries.

Okay I know this really wasn't that interesting, but I was getting guff from a couple of friends for not posting. Sorry I'll try to be better.... Really.

A BIG CONGRATULATIONS goes out to my friend Jeanne! Matt proposed to her today in the Navoo Temple on the spiral staircase. I'm so excited for you! Looks like me and Miss Addison will be flying to St. Louis for a wedding in March. We love you Jeanne and are so happy for you!

{ Help Has Arrived! }

Nothing new to report from me, still here, still pregger's, still contracting. Really nothing new.....

But reinforcement has arrived in the form of men offering help in our new/old room.

Actually Brent & Chas are still here helping Lloyd with the back room.

They got the insulation up and are now hanging sheet rock. It's so nice to have friends that are willing to lend a helping hand. And to top off this evening my friend Teija (Chas's wife) brought over dessert. She made cake & pie it was yummy! Thanks Taija :). We may see this room get done one of these days.

It's nice to see some progress happening.
