Ledger Turns 10

 This cute kid turned 10 on May 7th, we've officially hit the double digits and yet it feels like there's no way 10 years have passed since he was born.

{ Jentry's 18th! }

So the boy who made me a mom turned 18 today! 

We had a low key birthday at home. He didn't really want to do anything, so we had the grandparents over and opened a few gifts and had Maple Pecan Chocolate Sheet cake and ice cream. 

Jentry will be graduating soon and then working for a little while then going on a mission. We are excited for his upcoming adventures and are looking forward to seeing were his life will take him.

Had to add a picture of Ledger, he wasn't having anything to do with this birthday party. He just needed to go to bed.

{ Turkey Day 2015 in Washington }

I seriously can't believe this is the only photo I took of Thanksgiving Dinner 2015.

I'm grateful for Thanksgiving, it makes me reflect on all the things that

I have in my life. Healthy kids, a warm bed to rest my head at night.

Food on our table, a reliable car to take us where ever we want. 

Family beside us, a religion to practice freely. 

I am truly thankful for all my blessing big or small. 

We went after dinner to Aunt Geraldine's & Uncle Wendell's, to pick up a stove for mom.

Hers was having some serious issues. While there I took these 2 photos 

of Jentry & Ledger. Tugs at my heart strings to see these two together.

My 1st baby and my last baby together. 

Sometimes, the days go too fast.

We need to hang onto the simple memories like these.

{ Girl's Trip With a Side of Ledger }

 With Addison's 8th Birthday coming up we decided it was time to get her ears pierced,

So we made a trip to Tri-Cities. We went to town with Aunt Jean & Ali

and went to Claire's to get the job done. 

She was so nervous, but lived to tell the tale!

I love that my Aunt still does photo bombs. I love my Aunt Jean!

After all the shopping we went out for lunch.

{ Ledger Turns 1! }

 So he went and turned 1 on me. It's okay really, i'm really liking this bigger grown up baby stage. He's more independent on his own and less dependent on me. It's a win, win for both of us! I had great ideas about doing his 1 yr shoot but he was less than cooperative, so we really only got 1 shot of him that was semi-decent and he wouldn't wear the headdress I had made. He's a little stinker but I love his guts!

 Today, my pile of darkening bananas were calling my name

3 loaves worth! 

I love that I know how to bake for my family. 

Grateful that I had a mother to teach me the things that would

help make me a mother and wife. 

Sometimes I get sick of cooking & baking. 

But these are my way of showing love to my family.

By filling their bellies with yummy foods. ;) 

Ledger is going through a strong train phase, 

he will play for hours and hour with these tracks that have been

well loved by siblings before him. 

I mean seriously...... He is so dang cute, I just love him so much!

On February 16, 2015 Ledger does the whole HOW BIG IS LEDGER with his hands raised in the air. It's pretty darn cute. He also said MAMA!!! I'll take that win!

He also learned to shake his head NO. It's his new favorite thing, and boy does he ever know what he does and doesn't' like. 

He lets me know for sure with just a shake of his head!

On 2.19.15 he took on clapping.

This monkey got his 6th tooth on 1.10.15 & the 7th on 1.11.15.

He waved bye bye to his dad officially on 1.20.15

Says dada ALL the time. Why is it, that they say dada first? Aren't I the one caring for his every living need 24/7? I'm just saying.
