Ledger Turns 10

 This cute kid turned 10 on May 7th, we've officially hit the double digits and yet it feels like there's no way 10 years have passed since he was born.

Parkers 24th

 Parker, Kenzie & Grayson came home for Parker's birthday weekend, he got to go fishing and took Kenzie & Grayson - Kenzie caught 12 fish, pretty good for her first time fishing ever! 

Lloyd bought him a remote-controlled Bronco, we dined out for dinner at Taquila's and I made a homemade chocolate cake with maple pecan frosting. 

They went to church with us on Sunday and left that afternoon.

{ Brinley is 14! }

Not sure why they think it's okay to keep up with all this growing up business, but yet here we are another birthday. 

I'm so glad this girl is ours.

she's pretty funny, an amazing helper, smart, pretty, the list goes on and on.

She had a few friends over and we made a craft, each girl got to choose their own paper and make these cute arrow wall decor. I love that Brinley loves to get her craft on just like her mama.

{ Jentry's 18th! }

So the boy who made me a mom turned 18 today! 

We had a low key birthday at home. He didn't really want to do anything, so we had the grandparents over and opened a few gifts and had Maple Pecan Chocolate Sheet cake and ice cream. 

Jentry will be graduating soon and then working for a little while then going on a mission. We are excited for his upcoming adventures and are looking forward to seeing were his life will take him.

Had to add a picture of Ledger, he wasn't having anything to do with this birthday party. He just needed to go to bed.

Ahh, this kiddo, I love him and can't believe he is 11!!

he's your man. I love his constant thirst for history.

{ Sunday Fun-days }

Addison looked so cute in her jacket with her cute hair today

at church that I was sure that she needed a 

Sunday pic to remember it by.

And Corbin is having a birthday soon so they sang to him

in Primary. The  birthday kids all get to wear goofy glasses and

have the entire primary sing a birthday song to them.
It's such a fun tradition.

{ Ledger Turns 1! }

 So he went and turned 1 on me. It's okay really, i'm really liking this bigger grown up baby stage. He's more independent on his own and less dependent on me. It's a win, win for both of us! I had great ideas about doing his 1 yr shoot but he was less than cooperative, so we really only got 1 shot of him that was semi-decent and he wouldn't wear the headdress I had made. He's a little stinker but I love his guts!

{ Brinley's 13th Birthday }

And, then we got to celebrate Miss Brinley's 13th Birthday!
She was more than happy to become an official teenage.
I have 3 teenagers in the house, pray for me.
No, really Brinley is a happy girl.
And you know what they say, happy girls are the prettiest!
She's super responsible.
She's an over achiever.
She's a 4.0 student.
She's an awesome helper.
She had 3 Birthday requests:
A washi tape banner for her cake, She made it. :)
A rainbow cake, I made it.
Paper straws, I bought it.
She's so easy to please.

{ Jentry's 17th Birthday }

I have this oldest child.

He hates to have his picture taken. So I'm holding myself back from post an actual photo of him.

He turned 17 on January 13th. 

When did my little boy become this, this man?

We've had our trials but he's becoming a great young man.

{ Addison Turns 7! }

Of course with it being Halloween, it's also our Addison's birthday!

She is beginning to love the perks having her birthday the same day as a major holiday.
Parties at school, junk food for a good majority of the day and everyone dresses up!
Life couldn't be any better for a kid who's 7 don't ya think!

 And you can't forget to count your candy haul!
I remember doing this as a kid as well! Somethings never change..

{ Corbin's 10th Birthday! }

 Corbin celebrated his 10th birthday on the 3rd of October, his birthday is the 6th. But with General Conference we had to move it up. He had a Nerf themed Party and thanks to Pinterest we were able to pull it together with little effort. I wish I had taken more pictures with Corbin and his friends but I was t.i.r.e.d. This old lady with a baby thing is hard people!

{ Minion Halloween Costumes }

So, yeah, I've been a bit MIA.... I've really not had too much to say or blog about. I'm sure you don't want to hear about my oldest boys sports seasons with Football & Soccer so I will let you off easy there... We do always have some project going of some kind or another but I always feel like it's nothing that my fellow bloggers want to hear about. So I need to get better, get back to my blog and put my feelings and happenings & all my fun stuff back on the "big" screen. :)

In the month of October we celebrated: 
Corbin's Birthday, he is now 9. 
Our Anniversary- 19 years wowza!
And Miss Addison turned 6 yesterday on Halloween. 

It's been a crazy month to say the least but I did get 2 major crafts done. Sure they were only Halloween costumes, but by George I MADE THEM!!! 
I have the glue gun blisters to prove it! I hope you've all had a fantastic Halloween!!!

p.s. remind me next year that making Halloween Costumes is NEVER a good idea.. Especially when they are so involved.....

{ Birthday Recap x2 }

Recap 1- So, I survived my birthday 10 days ago. 

Here's how my day unfolded:

Our well pump and pipes all got replaced.

My VT's brought flowers and a huge hunk o' chocolate cake. 

I received phone calls from friends and some family.

Loads of Facebook happy birthday's.

My sweet friend made & delivered dinner and dessert for our fam.
AND THEN:

I spent my evening at Bubbles Laundromat washing/folding 4 loads of much needed clothing.

I have to say the weekend/week of my b-day started off not so great, but a HUGE thanks to my friends and family for making it a bit better. 

I REALLY appreciate it.

Recap 2 - I realized a while back that I completely forgot to post pics of Brinley's 10th B-day way back in January.

EDITED: I used THIS tutorial for making the sour cream containers.

We also hung paper lanterns and tissue pom poms from the ceiling. 
I had to make my own streamers this year as this town I live in has NOTHING. So I bought a few plastic table covers and cut them into strips then, sewed them together with a gathering stitch. 
Turned out cute!
