{ Update Much? }

Yup, I am still here, and have decided to take a little different route as to my way's O' blogging. 

Hopefully, what I have in mind will feel like less pressure. 

I always feel, if I blog it has to be this great project or amazing craft. 

I just can't do it.

 So, it's back to the basics with my blogging.

Will there be a project all the time? 

Probably not.

Will there be more updates even if they are short snippets here and there? 

That is my hope.

Will, I still share crafts and decor ideas?

{ A Blogging What Not To Do! }

Some of you may have noticed a while back, that my blog had black/white exclamation points in the place where my pictures should have been, there's a reason for that. 

And I'm here to tell you 

what not to do...

So, it all started with me getting a new cell phone. 

Easy enough right?

So after my cell company transferred all my pictures and contacts/stuff. 

I decided to "clean house" and get rid of pictures that I really didn't need on my phone. I mean, I didn't do anything with them on my old smart phone. 

Why bother keeping them on my new, clean, crisp one.....

This is what I saw on my phone, then i got all delete happy...

So, I'm deleting (blog) pictures off my phone (insert joyful whistling here) I mean why not, they are on my blog I don't really need them on my phone. 

Fast forward a few hours.... 

and this is what I see in place of everything picture on my blog

Pretty aren't they? 

Did I puke? Cry?

Almost.

Moral of the story

Yes, Rachel your gmail account is attached to your blog "everything" on your phone. (did I think of that at the time)

Nope.

If you delete the pictures that you see on your phone that are currently on your blog. 

They no longer will be there.... 

Just leave them alone. 

Don't touch them.

Just smile and walk away. 

I'll give you one guess as to what I do in my "sparest of spare" time now-a-days.

Yes, that's right. 

I reload every stinking picture that was on my blog from

2007-2012.

Yes, it deleted everything. 

 All of my hundreds of pictures, to all my side bar gadgets as well as my paper & header.

And if you're wondering, I did check my online picasa web album.
It was empty.

( hard )Lesson Learned.

Edited to add:

If you happen to come across one of my blog posts with the cursed black box, don't worry. I'll get to it soon enough. 

But if you really, really need to see the pictures. Just shoot me an email and I'll try to get that post done a little faster.

Please bear with me as I try and figure out what is going on with my blog pictures. 

A lot of my photos have an exclamation point where the picture is supposed to be. 

Just like this bugger......

Yes it's been a little busy around here due to the following:

After 13+ years of changing diapers we are DONE!

Addison is my oldest child (age wise) to potty train, but she did it when she was ready and is doing fabulous!  

Refinishing a desk for our office, the primer is done now on to paint, bead board, & Formica.

 Trying to get my giveaway away stuff figured out.

So far I like what I see..... 

And so I don't forget

{ My Smallish Cha Ching! }

So here's proof to myself that it does pay off a little to put Ad's on ones blog.
Yeah I know it's not much, but $ is $ at this point and I appreciate these online companies that help us SAHM out a little.

This little baby is going to be tucked away into our travel savings acct. so we can have some $ for all our adventures this summer.

{ Getting Organized & A ? }

Yes I'm "trying" to get organized with all my craft/scrapbook stuff. We out grew this house about 2 kids ago which means I no longer have a craft room, and having my crafts in 3+ different areas is driving me to drink, or at least making me want to drink unhealthy amounts of caffeinated Dr. Pepper.
So I have bit the bullet and have designated one end of my bedroom (yes my bedroom) to all things crafty. I hope that being organized will help me get more things done. My husband isn't thrilled with the idea of having my crafts in our bedroom but in the words of Tim Gunn who says "Make it work" that is what I am doing.

Here is a sneak peek of what I have done so far, it's not much..... The red shelf will be painted white (thanks for the tip Tausha) on Saturday and sanded to death so she's more shabby chic.
Hopefully she turns out how I see her in my head, things are always prettier in there.

And while I try to get my life in order I am stitching like a mad woman trying to get all my Stitchery orders out the door. Man these babies are time consuming......
Don't worry ladies they are coming.

Sometimes it feels like blogging is a chore and trying to come up with something to blog about that is super cute & cheap, yet completely awesome seems so daunting.

{Not Gonna Do It}

I know I said I would never put my kiddos back on my header but I needed a change of scenery, the fall look was just getting to be a bit too much for my eye balls. :) So this is my new look for a least a little while (aka winter).

Oh and if you look to your left you will see an Etsy shoppe that is mine, yes all mine now you can go and look all you want just don't tell me how dumb it is, I don't think I could take the rejection today. I will be posting more stuff like some banners and pumpkins & such but I'm waiting for la'post man to visit my door before I can get those made. Well the hobbits need feeding so I better get in the kitchen!
