{ Felt Pinked Valentine Heart - A Tutorial }

I finally finished my Felt Valentine Heart!! I ended up folding my circles a little differently than other tutorials I have found.. Lets just say it's more compact by design, I like to think of it as the
Mini Cooper of Valentine Hearts.
I love how it turned out and it was cheap, no frugal!
Like $5 smackers frugal, ya gotta love that. :)

  7. I was very surprised and quite touched to see a picture of President Monson in your post! The heart turned out beautiful too. I actually have tons of red felt scrap left from making a cape for a Halloween costume umpteen million years ago! Thanks for the idea.

  17. What a wonderful idea to use the heart platter like that! Wouldn't have thought of it, it looks great! And the added frilly-ness of using the pinking shears was also very clever! Love it! Pinning it!

  18. love the heart. Can you guess how much felt you used? I need to go buy felt and want to make sure I get enough. Also, what size circle? 3 inch diameter??? And one more question...how big is the plate...12 inches? 14? Thanks,

    1. Terri,
      Ya know, I never measured my felt. I just used what I had on hand. I would say buy
      1 1/2 yards. Just to be safe, you can always use any excess felt on cute little flowers :)
      The circle size I cut out was 3 inches, I used my Tupperware cup as the template

      Thanks,
      Rachel
