{ Projects }

I am slowly working on a couple of crafts for Valentines Day which is also known to some as
Single Awareness Day :)
But I ran out of red felt, so it's off to the store for me tomorrow, hopefully I can get them all done before the big day, if not, I guess I'll be ahead of the game for next year right!
Well I better go and peel all the hot glue off my fingers and I also I hear my pillow calling.

Did anyone watch The Young Victoria??
What did you think?

  1. Rachel loving the felt pieces AND the blog make over good job... Everything looks FANTATSIC!

  2. i LOVE that movie! i was amazed at her strength of character and who she knew she was and she was going to marry a man she was in love with and SHE was going to run that country and not just be a puppet. it would be fascinating to learn more about her.
oh: and good luck with those v-day crafts and getting them done. i'll be happy if i get my kids valentine's done for monday!

  3. Can't wait to see what you come up with! I watched The Young Victoria on Saturday while I was sewing! I really liked it! Thanks for the recommendation!

  4. I had wanted to get some Valentine crafts done but life took over and I never got to them.

I hope you get yours done.

  5. I haven't watched it yet but it will be on my list of movies to watch next time my husband is out of town for a week.

Maybe I'll find a set of 600 thread count sheets to sink into while I watch. ;)

I found a fabulous queen size blanket at Walmart on clearance for $10 late last year. It is big enough for my daughter and I both to snuggle under on the sofa vs a throw. Love it.

  6. I really liked the movie. I had watched it before your recommendation. Love your new blog look!

  7. Don't you just want to go learn more about her? After you post I of course had to go watch it again. And then rewind to my favorite parts over and over again. it is like a good book where you just have to reread the best parts. And now you have me hooked on that song too.

Love your new look on your blog :) Cannot wait to see your finished project.

  8. I love a movie that I'm not embarrassed to watch with my kids. It was GREAT!

  9. I love the Young Victoria. I had already seen it and rewatched it recently. It's nice to see a film about royals without a lot of infidelity and bad behavior. So fun to watch these movies for the costumes too. I wish they would make more like this one!
