{ Bunkie Board 15 Minute Makeover }

We have a set of bunk beds that used to belong to my Brothers kids, then they handed it down to us & our boys used them. The boys have officially handed them over to Brinley & Addison and this is what they look like, well the Bunkie board that is.
Terrible huh!
Brinley told me I have to fix it, because frankly she thinks it's ugly and I tend to agree with her.
So I got out my supplies which included: some duct tape, a staple gun & some inexpensive fabric from Wal-Mart and set to work.

1. I clipped off all the excess fabric that was around the edges.
2. Taped all the holes in the cardboard.
3. Then put the new fabric on and stapled the dickens out of it.
This it took about 15 minutes but oh the transformation!

The best part was the price tag,
 I only used a little over 2 yards but I bought 3 at $1.00 a yard and
So essentially this project cost me $2.00!!
Brinley appreciates her new view and I think it turned out pretty cute, even if my lines aren't totally straight.

  5. So cute! My oldest wants a camoflauge room. Which I say no to. He sleeps on the bottom bunk so I am totally copying you (which is the highest form of flattery) and going to add camoflauge fabric. Hopefully that will do the trick for him. Happy belated Anniversary!
