{ Going Home! }

At least I think we get to stay home.
We got sent home this morning as her levels had dropped, BUT we have to take her back to the hospital at 5:00 today to have more blood drawn and we will know more from there.
IF her levels go up a little I think our Pediatrician was going to call around and see if he could find a bili blanket. I don't know if he will be able to find such a thing around here, but we are keeping our fingers crossed. Hey Dawn do you have Bili Blankets in Enterprise? Do you think we could smuggle one out? :)
I told him I can't stay at the hospital anymore with 4 kids it's just too hard, I need to be home. Plus she is getting old enough that really a bili blanket would do the job. Stayed tuned to your local Berry Blog for more at 5:00 pm :)

  2. Actually we do have one up here. I sent it home with someone a couple months ago (baby's levels were around 13 or 14 I believe). I can't believe that LG wouldn't have one? Huh! It would make complete sense especially with people like you that have Jaundice babies every delivery. It could really cut down on the hospital stay time. You still have to have them drawn daily but a drive is better than the stay. Anyway I am glad your home. Keep her in the sun if you have any, she'll be good! Take care!

  4. Good luck!
    We did the bili blanket with nick and that was almost 10 years ago. I can't believe you wouldn't have them out there???? Hopefully you do or she won't need it. My fingers are crossed.

  6. I'm glad you are home. Hope you get to stay there. Make sure you are nursing her at least every 2 hours during the day, the more she gets the faster her levels should go down. It has got to be hard. I bet that Addison has had enough. Hope the 5:00 draw went better than your earlier event. I feel so bad for Little Addison. And for her mom!!! Give all hugs from me ok.
