My Baby Bjorn Cover

EDITED!!
Click here for the link to the Tutorial to make one for yourself!

Well it may not be made with lots of glue but I did sew it myself. I have been looking around for a cover for my Baby Bjorn front pack since I was pregnant and I simply couldn't pay between $25-$35 bucks for one. So I made up a sample cover/pattern out of my crappy $1.00 yard fabric and it actually turned out on the first try, so I plunged into my "cute" fabric and made this cover in about 25 minutes. I like it so much I may have to make a couple other covers just to mix it up a bit. And it cost less than $5.00 to make thanks to 2 fat quarters from Moda and a trip to our local quilt store. Just thought I would share my craft for the day.

I was nice enough to share this with someone (who has now made her own) and now that I have it back I think it's time for a tutorial. :)

And my thanks to Jentry for being my Bjorn model.

Hey, we are making some spy bag thing in RS this month. I'll have to post it. It requires sewing but someone else will sew mine. I don't need stabbed 20 times. :)

  6. Rachel,
I love it and my cousin Angie at 7 clown circus sent me your way. Can you explain how you did it. I have a seven month old and we just finished a trip back East where my little Myles spent lots of time in the Bjorn(not to be confused with my husband Bjorn!). I think it's way CUTE! Just do another post on it, or email me @ bandbdodd@gmail.com

  7. you go girl! i love it! Almost makes me want another baby just so i can use one-ALMOST-not quite.
i wish that i could sew. i was thinking about taking a class, but I don't know. My husband was so thrilled at the idea, he even offered to buy me a sewing machine. I told him to chill-I don't even know if I am going to do it. i think that he just want me to learn how to sew so I can make him a "I love camping" shirt-just like the one his mommy made him when he was 5. And by the way,the one that she still has and the fabric-just in case? Some people are crazy! Totally off track-love the projects-i think that you should do a paper/scrapbook project. that way, I can copy and have cute things like you!
