Busy, Busy, Busy!

I'm here, I've just been super busy getting Parker's Baptism announcements ready (his birthday is next month) and I'm also helping my friend Maria with her son Ethan's Baptism announcement as well. And I'm trying to make a chenille bib for Addison as she needs something stylish to wear while eating. I promise to post a picture when I get it done.
And I am also still quilting. I need to put together the one from the quilt class and I am also working on the Pickles and Ice cream one as well. I have way to many irons in the fire. Oh I almost forgot, I also have 2 no 3 friends that want blog help. Hopefully I can get it all done and keep my house semi-clean in the process. Wish me luck!

Here's my progress so far on the Pickles and Ice Cream. I am so stupid for trying to make this quilt. It only has like 5 thousand little squares. Never again. But I'll finish the thing. In this picture I still have to attach the second row to the first. Sigh. So much to do, so little time.

  1. You are super mom! I always get myself into too much as well, but usually can't finish it all! I love the start of the Pickles and Ice Cream Quilt! Pink and green are awesome together! And who really cares if your house is clean - as long as the kids are happy, fed and they have clean clothes! Congrats parker on turning 8! (almost!!)

  3. Very cool quilt. Why can't I have any talents??? You are an amazing lady. I wish I could do a fraction of the things that you do. Maybe someday.

  4. Our enrichment leader needs to take lessons from you! What a fun quilt! Heck i can't even sew. Making announcements? Isn't that what Hallmark is for? ;) Macy is right after Parker but I'm not making hers. You could sell the quilts for extra money you know, you do such nice work.

  7. You are amazing!! I feel really bad having you help with Ethan's announcement now. I will come scrub your toilet for you. Hope you have a great day. The quilt looks really cute. I would have been too intimidated to even start one with that many squares. Wow!!! What a woman.

  9. I just deleted my comment that I apparently posted twice. I didn't want you to think you had a creepy poster out there. Sorry

  10. Can I just go on the record as saying I'm not one of the 3 that needs blog help this time, just the last 10 times ;o).
Now that I'm having a girl(and I'm not insane) how about I trade you one Dick and Jane quilt top for the pickle and ice cream quilt- sounds fair to me. Seriously though it looks great and you are insane.
