Mr. Tonsillectomy

Well he's home now and FINALLY fell asleep. I am having a hard time getting him to eat ice chips and drink fluids. And as a result he feels like he can't breathe as the swelling isn't going down because he's not eating the ice and such. I have explained to him why he needs to eat it so we shall see if he's better after a little nap.
I do believe it's going to be a long night.
Here are some pictures from today.
Before his surgery.
And after.

Okay my 10 minutes of free time is up. Gotta go save the baby & Parker's up now and he's crying about not being able breathe. The Ice Woman Cometh! I need an extra set of hands. Okay Lloyd you can come home from work now.

  1. Rach I feel for you! I had my tonsils out when I was 17 and it was a nightmare everything went wrong that could! Anyway tell Parker we are thinking of him and Seth says hi!

  2. That does no sound fun! So do you need to escape yet? :)

Poor guy he looks so out of it!

  3. Oh, I feel so bad for Parker. He will feel much better after he heals. I had the surgery at 21 and had an allergic reaction to the local anesthetics and it parallized my throat and vocal cords. I could not talk or swallow. Tell him that Angie said the ice chips and cold liquids will really help with the swelling.

  4. At least it's a surgery he'll only have to have once. We hope you feel better soon Parker!

  5. Poor guy! Gracie had hers done and it is NOT fun. GOod luck to you and him getting through it.

  6. that would be scary to feel like you can't breathe. Poor little Parker.

  7. No fun. I hate it when kids have to go through this stuff, it is so hard for them and hard on Mom's and Dad's too. Hang in there I hope he is doing better.

  8. Dear Parker Grandma M had her out when I was 25. I was down a week to , am sure glad they don't grow back We Love you very much oxoxox From G and G M
