  2. rachel we took our kids to new york last december. we went to ground zero. it's wierd, and erie. you cant help but cry when you see christmas trees with fire fighters pictures all over them. it was so sad and surreal.....i can't even imagine that day. the pictures still make me cry!

  10. I've been to "ground zero" a couple of years ago. I never got to see the twin towers before that. But you can not help but feel a reverence in that area for all those who have passed. God Bless America.

    My mother's b-day is 9/11. It wasn't until that fateful day did we ever think of her b-day date as 9-1-1. It's kind of a bummer for her on her b-day. We want to celebrate a little, but the rest of the country is in mourning. Makes me think of the babes that were born ON 9/11.
