{Feeling The ♥}

This is going to sound so cheesy & I apologize but seriously, THANK YOU! I am blown away with the amount of participation I have received over this giveaway. I have read each comment and have loved them all. I should do giveaways more often! And meeting new blogging friends is just great. Sorry about my lack of blogging this week. I have 2 sick kids and am not feeling so hot myself at the moment, plus getting ready for back to school (yes they are still home) it's been a little busy around here. I'll be drawing 3 names tomorrow.
Good luck & I'll see ya then.

{ IT'S GIVEAWAY TIME! }

Well I made it to 300! FINALLY!
And in honor of my royal slacker-ness & my love of Cute Halloween/Fall decor I am giving away 3 different Halloween items (that I made myself so don't look close as I've never claimed to be overly crafty) to 3 different blogettes! 1 item for each of the 100 posts I did NOTHING for. See look at me making up for lost time how good am I? However, there are rules & it's pretty easy just tell me who you are/where your from & maybe how you know me (hmm sound familiar?) and leave a nice little comment for me and you will be entered into my humble little giveaway.
Drawing will be held on Saturday.
So go tell all your friends. Well, what are you waiting for!
A smaller version of my pumpkins posted below. There still pretty cute!
Don't mind my lack of stitching skills.
I just noticed that it is cutting off my pictures, Oh well I'm not changing it now. I'm beat and my pillow is calling my name. Well that and my repeat of New Moon.

{It Was A Good Day Today}

I had the chance to go and see this movie! Can I just tell you how much I loved this show!!!! If you love Abba music like myself then you will love this show. The songs and comedy they inter-twined together was simply fabulous. I'm so buying it when it comes out on DVD. I even ran to Wally world right after the show and bought the soundtrack that I'm listening to right now. I had to laugh to myself as I watched a young "dating" couple walk out of the theater (never to return) about a 1/4 of the way through the show. Just goes to show you that youth doesn't always know a good thing when they have it in front of them. There were times that I just wanted to get up and dance. I know I'm a dork. But did I mention how much I loved this show?!
Ahhhh I love a good chic flick... it was definitely a good day!
Oh and this post right here makes my 299th post. So my next post will be a lovely giveaway of 3 items. 1 item for each 100th post that I didn't do anything for. I'm just making up for lost time. I've been sewing and getting some craft on. I hope you like them. :) See you then!

{Fall Pumpkins That Make Me Happy & A Finished Project}

EDITED TO ADD: I couldn't handle it so I made my own ribbon out of fabric. Makes that little red pumpkin look soooo much better. :) 1 down 4 to go. Oh and I'm thinking of adding to my giveaway..... I've made 3 small version's of these cuties to give away to a second person.... What do ya think, Yes? No?

Well I've been busy trying to get a few things done. I made these pumpkins last night and love how they turned out thanks to Holly & her easy tutorial. Now I need a craft warehouse so I can get so me beautiful ribbon & other embellishments to decorate these babies up, but for now they will have to survive with my sad stash o' ribbon that I stole from my scrapbook supplies. So all of you out there that have access to CRAFT STORES within a 10 mile radius be grateful you have them, I wish I did. Darn small town. :(

Yesterday I also put some fabric in my TV hutch (finally. It's NOT what I wanted but again, my not getting to buy fabric while in Tri-Cities led me to some boring brown striped ticking that will have to do until I find the fabric that slaps me in the face & says she's the one. Sorry this pic is terrible.

Anyway, I should get some lunch started for the kiddies. School starts here on the 3rd. I am so looking forward to some quiet and a lower food bill. :) I am also in the works of getting some teacher gifts ready for the 1st day of school.

I think they are going to be C.U.T.E. I'll post them when I get them done. Hope you all have a great day & thanks for reading my boring blog I do so ♥love♥ ALL your comments. You guys ROCK! Oh and I'll post the pumpkins again when they are all properly adorned.

Sidenote: All fabric's for the pumpkins are from Wal-Mart. I wish they had more detailed ones but you gotta work with what you have available to you at the moment. :)

English Ironstone, Some Wingback & Sheer Cuteness!

On Tuesday I took some of our un-used still good stuff to our church's free market that we have every year. And since I was there I figured I would have a look around & see what needed to come home with me.
Well ladies take a look at this box of FREE GOODIES! And being the decorator wanna be that I am, I snagged her up and brought her home. I also found some English Chippendale bowls and small plates. Lets just say it was a good day & I kid you not, I had to do a double take when I saw that it was a full box of stonewear sitting before me. I have to thank the modern man for the invention of pantie liners otherwise I would have peed my pants. Well not really, although I would have done my happy dance but I didn't want the old woman who was next to me to have a heart attack while watching me do my full body heave dance. See that tag on the bowls, someone tried to sell it at a yard sale- 5 bucks for the set & NO ONE bought them. What were they thinking?
So they took them to the free market,
I thank them because free is a very good price.
I also snagged the little platter & those cuppy white thingy's, I know I probably don't deserve them if I don't know what they are called. And here is the piece of furniture that I promised I would introduce you all to. I purchased her while up in Tri-Cities last weekend. I do love me a wing back chair & have always wanted one. I found ol' butterfly brown at Value Village for $14.99. I am going to get her reupholstered because that brown butterfly lovin' the 70's motif just isn't for me. Right now she's vacationing at my mom's (car was packed to the gills). So I'll have her coming out party when she's all pretty. I'm on the hunt for the perfect fabric right now. Any ideas on what fabric pattern I should be looking for?
I want her to look flipping fabulous & timeless!She's so curvy and pretty... So much potential in this chair.I know these next pictures have nothing to do with decor but they sure dress up Addison's cute little feet. Thank you Wal-Mart and my used to be 10 dollar bill! These would make the cutest baby shower gift! I'm just saying..Okay that's all for now, have I bored you enough with all my pictures and sad late night commentary? :)

{Book Review Rant-A Good Laugh & A Peek}

Warning: If you are still reading this book. Scroll down until you see the You Tube Movie. I don't want to be the one to give out what happens... You've been warned.
I'm sure I'm going to get some hate mail about this post but I just have to say it. When I finished Breaking Dawn I was disappointed to say the least. After I closed the book I just sat there and said to myself Huh..... And that's what I'm still saying. I'm re-reading the whole series starting from the beginning to see if it was just me reading it all too fast and not taking it in. But I really don't think so. Was was it about this book? Was it the bizarro' pregnancy? The Jacob side of things (which was too long for me) and him imprinting on their baby daughter (sorry I just thought ick...) and I have to ask what was with the ending? Come on I expected a little more than what she wrote, it was all a bunch of talking and mind games in the end. Not that I wanted a war of any kind but it was just so... so... so HUH? I am glad that they ended up together but I think we all knew that was going to happen but is it just me, am I the only one NOT in love with this book's series finale?

Sorry ladies I guess this book just wasn't for me. The movie should be interesting to watch. And speaking of the movie I laughed my bahookie off at this spoof trailer. I needed it after I finished this book.

Okay I promise not to talk about vampire books anymore girl scouts honor! I'm getting off my soapbox now. Okay on to bigger and better things!

My 300th post is just a mere 3 posts away! It's something for Halloween and here's a little sneak peek of the fabric I am using (I am so in love with this fabric) I think it's going to be freaking cute! At least that's the way it looks in my noggin.

sorry the picture is ick! You all know the routine by now.. Old house... Night time.... blah.... blah.... blah...

{Things We Did In Tri-Cities}

We played with a little play dough...

Played on our little water park, well the other kids not la' baby...We heard no evil, saw no evil & spoke no evil...

And apparently Addison is short for ''Addiction'' as she was introduced to Milky Way Midnight bite sized candy bars... Thanks Grandma. :)

This shot taken just before the sugar coma set in...

Lloyd installed new vinyl in my parents el' bathroom...

He also installed this nice new entry, as it was just carpet before. He's ever so handy...

And Lloyd & I were able to go here while my folks babysat...

Then we took the kids here on the way home so they could see it.....

And of course one more, cause I'm their mom and I can... Okay & one of just me so I could prove that I was really on this little trip. And yes I asked to have my photo taken because they are going to need some form of photo documentation to hang by my casket when I die. Don't you just love my round fat Turkish woman face & old lady Relief Society arms? I so still/will/always & forever loath pictures of myself....

Alright I did do a little more than that on our quick trip, I did manage to finish the kids school shopping the only thing I have left to buy is backpacks. I DID NOT get to go to the fabric store (blasphemy) which meant I didn't get to smell all the cotton (still sad about that). Oh well enter online shopping, I also made a furniture purchase that I will introduce later (thank you value village, I just love a bargain with potential).

Oh and yes my baby has a black eye, that's what happens when one tries to climb up the back of a ladder back chair. Needless to say the chair won......

{Fun... It's A Dirty Job}

Well, I never thought this next sentence would cross my lips, but I kinda miss my missile testing dirt piles. Looking back with hindsight it was a great entertainer for the la' boys with energy. But alas Mr Backhoe came last week and back filled everything so the boys beloved dirt jump is no more. What is it with boys big/small & dirt?

Oh the bathroom trim is almost done then I need to paint the wall next to it. So much to do, so much to do. But on the up side we will be going to Tri-Cities again this weekend so I will be able to go into a real fabric store so I can dress my TV cabinet. Ahhh the sweet smell of cotton all around, I can hardly wait.
